After three years with us, it’s time to say goodby

After three years with us, it’s time to say goodbye and a big thank you to John Leeson as he heads off into his next chapter.

John has been such a huge part of life across School House and Beach House. Always around when things needed doing, always up for a chat and always bringing a bit of energy that made the day better for everyone around him. If you’ve met him, you’ll know exactly what we mean.

We’re so grateful for everything he’s given the team over the years and although we’re really sad to see him go, we’re even more excited to see what he gets up too.

John, thank you for everything. Wishing you all the very best with whatever comes next. You’ll be missed here more than you know!

As we push on our Cornish sites and the rebuild at Beach House Devon the time has come to make the most of our final year at Mothecombe.

It’s been a wonderful ten years and we hope to see you all over the next year before we leave in April 2027.

There’s plenty to explore right on our doorstep, coastal paths, quiet lanes, sea air that wakes you up properly. Take your time with it, then wander back for something to eat, a coffee, or something stronger if that feels more fitting.
